Being a designer myself, it’s rare for me to come across an artist whose work hits the same frequency we aspire to hit every day. We have a phrase called the mischievously distinctive, and those that are part of the paradox create work that flow with a unique sense of style, expression, individuality, and emotional uplift. Taking the traditional and making it fun and new. Taking the suit and projecting what the person inside has to do with our society today and what the society of today has done for the person in the suit. Freedom. Sam’s work does just that and more. She dances on the fine line between serious and I don’t give a F*&^ck and that frequency is only going to get louder.
